At the far end of the breakwater in the Maritime Quarter stands a small white ecumenical chapel, proud and resilient like a weather-beaten dwarf pine in the archipelago.
In the past, similar seafarers’ chapels dotted the main sailing fairways, always ready to welcome sailors in need of shelter and tranquility. The chapel was built in 2008 by young volunteers from various European countries. This year, the chapel is featured in the film ”Stormskerry Maja”.
